To reach prospects and customers across the country, a young Canadian telecom firm needed to produce more than 10 versions of a new brochure every month. It was such an expensive project that the company offered a long-term contract to the supplier that could develop the most cost-effective production process.
PGe developed a new approach to colour use for the client. One reason the company was paying so much was that it was using a fifth, "special" colour for impact - a costly option when you are printing a high number of shorter-run jobs.
Our graphics experts redesigned the company's brochure so that each version required only a one-colour change - not four- or even five-colour.
That one change saved the company time and significant dollars. In fact, PGe's solution produced even lower costs than the target the customer had asked us to try to meet.
PGe's value engineering resulted in a price well below what the company's own advertising agency could provide. We have been refining this project ever since and we have reduced the costs even further.
On several occasions we've been very pleased to hear our client say, "This project has never run so smoothly."
Can PGe save your company money on print production?
