A national retailer had produced a number of large graphics to be hung overhead in more than 100 stores across Canada to promote its new spring line. Unfortunately, most of the ads were shipped late to the individual stores. And when retail employees opened the packages, they found many damaged posters and multiple panels missing. Angry about having to postpone the rollout of its new campaign, the retailer asked PGe if we could do better.
With its Web-based print-procurement and tracking systems, PGe was able to assure the client that late shipments would be a thing of the past. We found that slipping a sheet of kraft paper between the rolled-up graphics would eliminate most of the wear and tear on the posters in shipping. And we proposed a new inspection system to ensure all shipments were complete.
PGe's automated system saved the client time and reduced production errors. It also ensured that any deviations from schedule or specs were noted or explained. Meanwhile, our improved packaging and system of personal inspections ensured that all shipments arrived intact and in full.
By taking advantage of PGe's project-management experience, the retailer boosted its marketing effectiveness without paying an extra dime. Today PGe continues to oversee this client's poster production and logistics. As an email from the client stated, "This was handled very well. We really appreciate what you've done."
PGe's proven systems can help your company meet deadlines and reduce production errors.
